1. Our Refund Commitment

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. The full report on BenefitCheck.ca is a one-time $1.99 CAD charge — small, but we still want it to be worth what you paid. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will make it right.

2. Standard Policy — 14 Days, Unused

If you have not yet accessed the full report after your $1.99 CAD purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing contact@benefitcheck.ca with your order ID (the Stripe receipt or the session ID from your post-purchase email is sufficient). We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and issue the refund within 5 business days.

3. Technical Issues — 30 Days

If you experienced a technical problem that prevented you from accessing the report — for example, the unlock email did not arrive, the report failed to load, or your account did not show as upgraded — contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. We will investigate and process the refund within 5 business days. We may ask you for the order ID and a brief description so we can also fix the underlying issue.

4. Reports You Have Already Accessed

Once you have accessed the full report, the purchase is generally final. We may still consider refunds at our discretion for exceptional circumstances — please contact us with the details and we will review your case in good faith.

5. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are issued back to your original payment method through Stripe. Once the refund is initiated on our side, you will typically see it back on your card or payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. If you do not see the refund after 10 business days, contact us with your order ID and we will help track it down.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email contact@benefitcheck.ca with:

  • The email address you used at checkout.
  • Your order ID, Stripe receipt number, or Checkout Session ID.
  • A brief reason — this helps us improve the product.

You do not need to give a detailed reason to receive a refund under the standard 14-day policy or the 30-day technical-issue policy.

7. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, or any other applicable consumer-protection legislation. This policy is in addition to — not in place of — those statutory rights.
